I believe story telling is the most powerful catalyst for change in the world. Forget the ambiguous cliche that we can make the world better a better place - I believe through story we will make the world a more equal place, a more compassionate place, a more empathetic place.
In the age of the selfie, apathy pencils in the lines which separate us. Each time we share a story, especially our own, we erase those lines. Story helps us feel what other people feel. Story telling creates connection through empathy.
To carry that banner forward, I feel I am responsible to help people, businesses, and organizations tell their stories in creative and engaging ways. I use digital mediums to create those opportunities.
I was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. Sometimes we play in the snow.
I came to San Diego to play baseball at Point Loma Nazarene University.
I met my best friend, Kristen, in World Lit 204. We got married in November 2013.
We spend a good deal of our time destroying our house. Then trying to put it back together.
We also take full advantage of the best this city has to offer: good weather and good beer.
In my spare time I enjoy long exposure photography, cooking, and the local church.
